Interview: Zoo Trippin’

High-energy Columbus rock outfit Zoo Trippin’ has been steadily active in the Columbus music scene for years. We had the chance to sit down with Tony Casa and his crew before their set downtown at The Walrus on Friday, December 2nd, where the group performed alongside The Turbos and Coya Hill. Listen below as the band shares their thoughts on the Columbus music scene, its artists, and the worst venue in Columbus.

Zoo Trippin’ played a phenomenal set Friday to a raucous crowd, packed into The Walrus’ short pit area, and to dozens of “People just trying to enjoy their food in the back”. Their newest release, Great White Buffalo, is out everywhere now, and have plans to release a 12-14 track album soon.

The band is raising funds for the new album at their GoFundMe page which you can help support here!

Zoo Trippin’s next show will be the CD102.5 New Year’s Eve Party at the A&R Music Bar on December 31st alongside local acts Cadaver Dogs and The Worn Flints. Get more info about the show here.
